Increase in Water Service Rates

NOTICE OF RATE INCREASE
The Keenan Water Supply Corporation (“Corporation”) Board of Directors held a public meeting on June 20, 2023 and voted to increase the monthly rates for water service for all members. Current rates have been in effect for over ten years and the current economic environment has caused us to review our rate structure to remain viable. We conducted an extensive rate study reviewing: neighboring water company rates, a rate study conducted by the Texas Rural Water Association and a rate study conducted by Communities Unlimited (a technical assistance company for utilities in cooperation with the USDA.
It should also be noted that our rates are substantially less than our neighboring water company- Dobbin/Plantersville which are as follows:
